SUGIZO says DO-FUNK DANCE and hello FATIMA

Rock star Sugizo has finally come back releasing two new singles today, “FATIMA” and “DO-FUNK DANCE.”  The ex-Luna Sea member has done countless side projects and done a few gigs here in the states.

SUGIZO’s cosmic symphonic poetry is an “electro dance groove” born from craving and longing. This song depicts the words of FATIMA, the goddess who weaves all life together.

While it’s taken a while for him to come out with something, it’s been three years since he said he was going to release any solo works… and I love it.

Last December he did release “MESSIAH” and “TELL ME WHY YOU HIDE THE TRUTH?” but it was only available on iTunes download and ranked #1 and #2 on the Electronic ranking charts.

To be honest it’s really awesome rave music. It’s electronic and trance with awesome guitar skills. If you don’t know, this man has mad skills on the violin and guitar.

YOSHIKI continues with VIOLET UK

In July, YOSHIKI received surgery for his cervical vertebra and is reported to be healthy. Healthy enough for him to resume activities with the project, VIOLET UK. He’s back in the studio and hopes to returning to the stage are now a reality.

When he first came out of the hospital the scar was about 5cm, red and swollen. Now after a month and a half, the scar is red but he feels no pain at all now. Even his doctors are surprised.

Well, we’re not surprised, he can go check up on his race team and put out a whole new jewelry line. How can his doctors be surprised at his recovery. This is YOSHIKI we’re talking about.

Even though we think YOSHIKI needs to retire in the music business, aka stop making music that sounds like a broken record, it’s great that he’s making a full recovery. He’s had that condition for a long time, it’s about time he got that taken care. Ten years of a bad back can force a person to finally seek medical attention wouldn’t you say?

YOSHIKI releases his new line

So with the recession going on around the world, at least Yoshiki isn’t suffering.

Yoshiki recently released his new line of jewelry, with a “GOTHIC” theme. There are only four exhibitions in all of Japan, and only sold at Takashimaya. The jewelry will be sold from 9/16-9/29 and range from 250,000-30,000,000 yen ($2,739-$328,695USD).

Toshi’s hopes for X-Japan

X-Japan singer, Toshi will perform on 7/29 in the metropolotan area for a bone marriow bank charity concert.

Regarding his friend’s surgical procedure, “If there’s an opportunity for his body to get better, and makes a full recovery, I would like to do concert.”

And if you don’t know who his friend is, it’s YOSHIKI you douche.

YOSHIKI’s surgery a success.

Yesterday at 8AM (PST), YOSHIKI under went cervical surgery at Cedar Sinai Hospital. The surgery was a great success, although it was a success, we’ll see how well the went in his recovery.  With great news like this, the L.A. staff members were jumping for joy and a concert in France may just be around the corner.

Props to your doctor for helping you out YOSHIKI. Even though I think you’re old and you need to retire and just produce artists (other than your own band), I can not deny the fact that I was a huge X-Japan fan a decade ago. You still have those killer ballads, literally. I hope you make a full recovery so that you do what you’re doing. Cause if you didn’t we wouldn’t be able to write about you or make snarty comments.
