Tae Yang & Thelma “Fall in Love”

While we haven’t updated in a very long time, we apologize. We have some what busy schedules, but we are posting today to share the PV sneak peak and leak of Aoyama Thelma and Tae Yang’s collaboration “Fall in Love.”

We like the song too~ it’s pretty catchy! Even though it’s a bit cliche, its okay! We still recommend this song.

Thanks to the people who uploaded these!

Octoberfest is not just about beer!

It’s all about the boy bands.

So with all the girl groups out in Korea, it looks like this month they’re tossing the PMS out and bringing the testosterone in.

Four groups and one solo artist will be releasing new songs. In which three of the five are set to make their debut and compete for the best male artist of the month (in our books).

tae yang

First up, Tae Yang. One of the lead vocals of Big Bang; made his solo debut last year with a number one selling mini album “HOT“, and comes back with a new digital single called “Where U At.”  The song is said to be about Tae Yang finding his true love. While he has stated that he has never had a girlfriend, Tae Yang I’m sure you won’t have a problem finding any applicants, it’s the interview process that’s going to be a b!#$h.

shinee

Second we have SHINee, releasing their third mini album, “2009, Year of Us” on 10/9. They just finished promotions in Japan for their second mini album, “Romeo“, and are finally resuming activities in Korea. You know with a title like “2009, Year of Us“, they may not be far off seeing as how DBSK will be going on hiatus for a bit.  Coincidence? I think not. At least SME has some ‘new blood’ to fall back on and slave away.

Now we come to the three newbies into the scene.

B2ST

First up we have B2ST aka Boys 2 Search the Top. Okay really is that name necessary? B2ST is pronounced “Beast”, but when I see the name I want to say “Best” or “Backstreet”. This is a six member group that has some not-so-new members to the music scene. Jang Jyun Seung auditioned for Big Bang, Yoon Doo Joon auditioned for One Day, both obviously were eliminated. AJ made a previous solo debut and Poppin’ Dragon used to belong to a boy band called Xing. The last two members, Yang Yo Seob and Son Dong Woon are new to the scene. Let’s hope they don’t choke and that their sunbae’s are helping them out.

child of empire

Second is Child of Empire. This group has nine members (NEWS anyone?). They are under Star Empire Entertainment and already have people buzzin’. The group is not set to make an official debut until 11/28, but from September to November the group will do a nationwide guerilla concerts.

mblaq_poster

Last and not least is Rain’s boy band MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality). I think Rain stayed way to long in the states to come up with a wack name like that. I feel like he ripped off B2K or Blackstreet. Rain hand picked these boys and trained them himself. So they better be good, because if not, well that just goes to show you what kind of taste he’s got now don’t it? He did release a teaser poster of the group. Can we say cover of Qr, Unzipped and Instinct Magazines? Sorry, but you can not look at that photo and not think that.

With all these groups coming out, I personally look forward to Tae Yang and Child of Empire. Why? Because when I see that photo of them, I feel like breaking out into a commercial. That photo looks like an ad for a really nice clothing store.

You Gotta Dance with Shaun and Lyle

If you live somewhere in Amsterdam, then your lucky day to learn from top choreographers Shaun Evaristo (Big Bang, GD, Tae Yang) and Lyle Beniga (Tae Yang) is coming. Learn from them as well as Elm Boogie, Natalie drawer Rose, Giannini, and Sigourney on 10/18-19 at the You Gotta Dance workshops.

Shaun Evaristo & Lyle Beniga for Tae Yang

lyle shaun aimee yongbae

So maybe it’s not Shaun choreographing TaeYang‘s new song “WHERE U AT“, maybe it’s Shaun’s friend Lyle Beniga. Or maybe they both are working on more than one song for TaeYang?

Lyle twittered on 9/29, “leaving 2day…Just wanna say m/v is gonna look amazing & I’m very proud of YB!!

lyle twitter

Shaun also just came back from Korea two to three days ago. He even posted a photo of Tae Yang and Aimee when they went to eat. So it’s possible that they [Shaun and Lyle] both choreographed for Tae Yang.

That or Shaun was there choreographing one of GD‘s new songs and it happened to be at the same time. Also since Aimee Lucas was with Shaun this time in Seoul, does this mean that she was choreographing for 2NE1‘s new album? Or was she there just to hang out?

Either way, it’s just cool that YG has some of the world’s most wicked choreographers coming to choreo for one of Korea’s best hip hop idols.

Shaun Evaristo & G-Dragon, Breathe

shaun g-dragon

Okay, so while it’s still up in the air whether or not Shaun did do Tae Yang‘s new song, he did do the choreography for G-Dragon‘s latest music video, “Breathe“.

He posted on his twitter, “GD MV i did is out.

So you can thank him for giving GD such awesome choreography. Check it out.

I wonder if they have Shaun do all of GD‘s choreo as he releases his songs out one by one. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Shaun Evaristo and TaeYang

shaun evaristo tae yang

While G-Dragon is s-l-o-w-l-y doing his solo, best bud Tae Yang is making his solo come back with a digital single called, “WHERE U AT”.  This will be Tae Yang‘s first full album. His first mini album that was released last year only had a small slot for promotions, so YG Entertainment is hoping to make promotions for this album a long lasting one.

What does Shaun Evaristo have to do with this? While everyone else is reporting on awesome choreographer, Rino from Beat Freaks (SNSDs’ Genie, f(x)s’ La chA TA), they are forgetting that Shaun is one of the most talented choreographers and is wanted… by YG. While they haven’t officially announced that Shaun choreographed Tae Yang‘s new single, “WHERE U AT”, it’s not a long shot since Shaun twittered last week that he was off to Korea to do some work.  If you aren’t so sure, Shaun also did the choreography to Big Bang‘s “Number One” and G-Dragon‘s Heartbreaker dance.

Since Shaun did the crime, Tae Yang will do the time, and I can’t wait to see what the choreo looks like.
