substitution is by no means a replacement of the original – if you hate us, we love you –

It’s all ABOUT ME!

daesung seungri

What did I say before when it was reported that Daesung got into an accident?

That Seungri will replacing Daesung this month on Family Outing. Okay, well not that, but that Seungri would be stealing the spolight from Daesung. The filming will be in Kangwon-Do in an undisclosed location.

Seungri will fill in for Daesung as a fellow Big Bang member,” said Family Outing‘s Jang Hyuk Jae PD, on a telephone inteview with Money Today Star News. “He will record one episode for now (two episodes’ worth on TV). After that we will see how Daesung is doing and make further decisions later.

Jang PD also said “The cast and crew are all worrying [about Daesung] and we hope he recovers and reunites with the ‘Family’ soon.

Not only is Seungri taking the spotlight in SHOUTING, he’s got Family Outing too.

Seungri, I like you, but man do some people wish it was you instead of Daesung in that accident.

It should have been Seungri, not Daesung“, and now I’m beginning to understand why she said that; as sad as that sounds.

Just to let you guys know, I did not say that, someone else did. I happen to like all the members of Big Bang and don’t wish anything like that on anyone.

You also know you can imagine Seungri thinking that (see above photo), cause I sure can.

boa

BoA is finally showing up on U.S. national tv, after a while. She will be on Extra this weekened so keep watch!

I was wondering what happened to her, because Wonder Girls have stolen the spotlight from her here in the U.S. It’s nice to see that she’s finally on T.V. here.

Now try to get on some show like the Wonder Girls were on The Wendy Williams Show.

More DBSK fun!

tvxq dbsk

So the latest developments on DBSK VS. SME.

SME has until 9/11 to submit financial documents to the courts. SME tried to get out of it by saying that their documents are highly classified and they can’t be leaked out what so ever.

The process of settlement procedures, materials, and the company’s trade secrets cannot be exposed to the media, as they would be fatal for the company“, stated SME.

The courts did say that only a select few will be viewing them so they shouldn’t be worried. After they get reviewed the case should be settled.

Here’s hoping for a happy ending because 120K fans signed and submitted a petition to the Seoul District Court on 8/20.

The two groups lawyers also released statements before the hearing.

TVXQ laywer said, “TVXQ members are very upset about the entire situation, but hopes that the lawsuit will end well.” In addition, “We do not want TVXQ to split up. And even if they do change management companies, there is still a chance that TVXQ will remain together.

While SME’s laywyer stated, “There are no personal grudges against the members, however this lawsuit is an enormous loss to the company, therefore we wish to resolve this as quickly as possible and have TVXQ continue their activities.” In addition, SME stated that, “In regards to the members running Chinese based cosmetics businesses, SM only intervened as it could potentially hurt their image. That was the only reason.

You know both of these groups want their cake and eat it too. It’s not gonna happen. It will either have a happy ending or leave a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth.

I bet H.O.T, S.E.S and SHINWHA are all gonna crap in their pants too, if DBSK gets their way.

Because this is STC…

Is why I’m going to write this to get this off my chest because it’s really annoying.

I love K-Pop just as much as the next person; but really, Korean (native) fans are neurotic.  Every idol that comes out of that country is under surveillance 24/7, even on T.V.

G-Dragon got some great, but not so great publicity for his album. All the accusations are hurtful, but it got his album to top 9 of 10 positions on the first day. People said he was depressed, but he clarified that in the recent NYLON interview; he’s not depressed, just a deep thinker. People call him a ‘fashionista’, ok well half the time I think he’s a fashion victim of his style. That’s okay though because it’s his own style, that’s why he’s got his own flavor and that’s what draws people’s attention. The latest antics now on him is not his album but what he did on BigBangTV. He supposedly, I’m assuming people thought, threw up the middle finger.

g-dragon

This is what the network had to say:

About the recent criticisms of Big Bang GDragon’s hand gesture featured during Mnet 2NE1TV recently, Mnet staff revealed their stand, “We were flustered and speechless.

On Mnet 2NE1TV aired on 12th August GDragon was seen showing a hand gesture to the camera but the past was mosaic out.

Choi PD to the show said, “We didn’t think that it was a sign of swearing or sorts after looking at the video, but we foresee people playing around with the image using photoshop and posting them up on internet.  So we decided to mosaic it out.

It was known that there is fear that there may be negative influence on GDragon if the image of him showing the hand gesture will be used to make other weird photos and circulated online and that was why it was handled this way when the show was aired. But they didn’t know that it will also cause an issue by doing the mosaic effect on the scene.

2NE1 TV staff said, “It can be seen that this is just a mere gesture of a singer moving to the rhythm of the music.” (ncly@bbvipz)

Can you see where I have the issue? Seriously, if a network had to think that far ahead because of the fans and anti’s, that’s just plain sad. A network nor the artist should have to think about that. If anything it looked like he was trying to pull off the bulls horn that all rockers do. To be honest, I think that’s Jiyong’s way doing the bull horn.

Here’s another example of what netizens need to stop doing: Meanwhile, there was also an issue about the pants which 2NE1 member Gong MinJi wore during 2NE1TV with the bear prints on them. There were many discussions about how the prints are not suitable for a minor like MinJi. (ncly@bbvipz)

minji 2NE1

Okay really, do you need me to go there?

It’s carebears for heaven’s sake. The girl is 15, she’s not allowed to like the carebears? Do you know how many 20-somethings I know that still like Hello Kitty, Rainbow Bright, Cabbage Patch Kids? If anything she’s at the right age. Carebears are for everyone, I’m not seeing how they’re not ‘suitable‘ for her. They even blurred out the little pipi of the carebear, what is that about? I’m sure when she bought those PJ’s she wasn’t thinking of anything other than how cute they are.

I think the fans and whoever is watching these are watching a bit too close. You all need a life, stop messing in their lives. They’re just doing their jobs, doing what they like and wearing what they like.

Can’t you like them and leave them at the same time? They’re not perfect you know, they all got flaws, hell if anything they got a lot of imperfections. This is why it must be hard to be a Korean celebrity, everyone is on your case like MJ is on kids. At least in Hollywood, we take everything with a grain of salt.

Big Bang is on top of things

While G-Dragon dominates Korean music charts, Big Bang releases their album in Japan today (yesterday in Japan) and takes the 2nd and 6th place on Oricon charts.

oricon

I still stand by what I said before, it’s an okay album. I don’t feel it’s anything special. If anything GD’s album is better than this album; so if you’re going to spend money, spend it on the better and cheaper album. I mean really three songs are remakes and if you have the singles, you pretty much have 75% of the album.

If you’re in it for collection and goodies purposes then by all means. I can’t help but think that GD’s scandals are also the reason why they did so well in Japan. G-Dragon’s album was the number one pre-ordered album on HMV Japan, so how did Big Bang out do him?
