Pi and Ryo confined to their homes

Adding to the list of growing celebrities, Tomohisa Yamasita and Ryo Nishikido of NEWS, have both been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. Johnny’s Entertainment sent out a fax on 8/31 stating that first Ryo had contracted the virus, and then today, Yamapi has contracted the virus. Both members have been confined in their homes until they recover.

Ryo who is currently filming a drama, “Orthros no inu”, will no longer be able to take part in the filming.  He still has un-filmed scenes for the 7th episode, with that being said, the production is looking for other alternatives and will decide what to do upon his condition.

Last month was the first month Japan has seen death by the swine flu. We stated earlier that 6 members of AKB48 had been diagnosed with the H1N1 strain as well, also Maximum the Hormone’s vocal, Ryo.

We hope they all recover, because we all know that if something happens to Pi and Ryo, well let’s just say, we all thought cassies are scary, you guys haven’t met Johnny’s fangirls.
